So far, we have designed/ built a range of vessels for diverse applications of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India and some of them have been flawlessly performing for over two decades now. We have also been looking after operation, maintenance, dry docking and class certification of these vessels.
As a sub vendor, we can fabricate the hull and other main components of the vessel being built by you and transport it to your yard in India or overseas. We have a tie-up with reputed Marine Consultants and could also undertake design and fabrication work for the entire vessel.
Built and classified as an IRS vessel, we designed, manufactured and commissioned a self-propelled deck loading barge 36m long and 8m wide. Besides deck space to load150 tons of cargo, the vessel is equipped with 3 toilets, a pantry, crew accommodation, AC VIP room and passenger cabin and can carry 4 crew members and 21 passengers. It is capable of doing a speed of 9 knots and light ship weight is (unloaded) 155 tons.

This passenger launch is 17.81 metres long, 5.5 metres wide and can move at a speed of 15.94 knots at full load displacement. The hull is made of steel, superstructure of FRP and is equipped with sleeping accommodation in separate cabin for 4 crew members, an airconditioned cabin to seat 8 passengers, toilets and a mess. The vessel is IRS certified and Shiva Engineering Works has executed design and fabrication of this vessel. Our company also looks after operation, routine maintenance, dry-docking and recertification of the vessel as per requirement.
